Charltons at the Hong Kong Capital Markets Forum 2024

On 30 January 2024, the Hong Kong Capital Markets Forum, titled “Driving Growth with Market Integrity and Sound Governance,” invited Paul Chan Mo-po GBS, MH, JP, the Financial Secretary of the HKSAR Government, to deliver the opening speech. The forum aimed to explore the current status and future trends of Hong Kong’s capital markets. It addressed various solutions to challenges such as currency fluctuations and geopolitical issues. This enabled Hong Kong to respond to challenges and seize opportunities in the ever-evolving global market.

Julia Charlton, as Vice Chairman of the Association of Hong Kong Capital Markets Practitioners, was thrilled to participate in this prestigious event. Alongside professionals from the capital markets, government agencies, academia, and the financial industry, they discussed the prospects, challenges, and opportunities for the global and Chinese economies in 2024.
